Twitter Tips – "Who to follow" and other additions to Twitter

Today was supposed to be a breakthrough day for me
on Twitter, I was supposed to get more than 350 followers
off of a new technique I've been Testing -

- while I still got more than 240 twitter followers just today
alone, it fell seriously short of what I had been expecting…

THE CULPRIT – The Damn Twitter Whale, Twitter has been
down all day! at different hours of the day – it was a global 
Blackout, so many people weren't able to actually get on
their accounts…

… Twitter HQ has been hinting and bragging about the

new features that were coming out on twitter this year…

Workers have been quoted as saying: "If you could see
the stuff we have in store for you you'd be blown away!" 

Well today, on what seems to have been some sort of a
general panic: I'm more tempted to say that it was

Orchestrated – People from all over the World were
complaining about twitter being down – even the good
folks at Mashable wrote a piece on it:

When Twitter came back, subtle new feautures were
installed to the platform. Hmmm

For one the "Who to follow" suggestion section is new
I had heard rumors about  something like that –

and apparently it was already implemented on some
test accounts 3 days ago -

- But it's finally apermanent fixtre on the platform and a
Twitter Wide change:

You can find the suggestions for you feature in the
find people tab on the platform or if you go to your
home page, you will see it under: "who to follow" → "View All"

This all sorta looks like the friend suggestions feature on
facebook, but then again – it has it's own unique traits. Anything
to make the platform more enjoyable and viral is fine by me
