Why List Building? Why not just sell stuff to the first in line?

Well… In 2003 Jay Abraham told me something extremely valuable: Probably the most important thing anyone has ever told me… "There are 3 ways you can grow a business:

- Well he didn't tell me in person, but sometimes I like to believe that my gurus are my friends in my head… Sorta like Wendy Williams… Any ways here are some cold facts-

- While all three ways of making money with your business are very valuable, One of those 3 methods will make you geometrically More money EVERY TIME!

Is List Building the most profitable way to make money in your business

Well, not exactly- what's right is the following: The majority of people who enter the Internet Marketing community focus largely on part 1 of the 3 steps- Unfortunately, part 1 alone makes you the least amount of money.

Do Not Get Me Misconstrued- There are people who make millions with just driving traffic to their site: But they are leaving an infinite amount of money on the table by not implementing steps 2 and 3…

Although you can still make a lot with just part 1… Ad without part 1 (2 and 3 are not possible- but I digress) Increasing the Repurchase Value of your customer will get you some cheddar in your wallet- a lot of Mula My Friend…

In fact it is more lucrative than step 1 and 2 combined… Walmart does it every day- they lure you in with their low prices counting on the fact that you will not only comeback for more (Step 3)- But 60% of people's purchases when they enter a grocery store are not planned purchases!

-You know what that means? Walmart does everything in their power to make everything else in the store "Attractive" to their customers… Their customers would rather shop there than anywhere else- The repurchase value is like GOLD in Your Pockets… If you hadn't considered it before- Take a piece of paper and write down in BIG bold LETTERS: REPURCHASE VALUE= GOLD

Where does list building fit in?

In the IM (Internet Marketing) Community people call "repurchase value" Continuity: because of the simple fact that once someone buys once from you, they will come back for more… Thus creating a continuous relationship with You. – Get it?

I know I know, I promised some list building information… I just want you to know everything properly before you get in too deep with no basic fundamentals- Cool? – ok…

Now Here's where it gets COOL: so Listen Up… When you have a product to promote- you have to drive traffic to the place where you are selling it-

- Then you have to make sure you have something else to sell them (Remember that 60% figure I mentioned above?) That other thing or those other things have to be closely correlated to whatever you are selling in order to increase the chances of you making not one but two sales (or multiple sales)…

Do you know that once someone buys from you, they make a subconscious decision to commit to you as a Vendor in the Future-

- Once the money has left their wallet (or their cards) a subconscious shift occurs where their buying temperature is automatically at Volcano-Hot!

It is in your best interest that you take advantage of that mind state to offer more value by giving them something else they may need from you… If a person does not buy from you AGAIN right away- – You can sell them again inside the next 20 day period and a large majority will buy from you AGAIN…

… But how would you sell them again if you have no way of capturing their lead? That's where building a list comes in… If you get your buyers' name and email address after every purchase you make, or after every service you give, you will have built a list of people who trust you-
